he audio of the upcoming love story ‘Komali’ was released at a simple function in Bengaluru on Tuesday evening. The film is directed by newbie Vikas Madakari based on Pawan Kumar Gowda’s story and is produced by Varada Reddy. The film is a bilingual being made in Kannada and Telugu simultaneously. Kabir Rafi has scored the music and Dhanush is the cameraman. The film stars Dev who had acted in Kannada film Kolahala, Saketh, Karthik and Sai Krishna. Kajal Sakhare from Pune, Sanjana, Sirisha and Kavithasri are the heroines.  

Director Vikas Madakari told reporters prior to the audio release that the film is named after a girl who lives in a village in the film. He said the title suits both the languages and it means being delicate. He said the film is not based on any real life story but it is a love story with a slight horror touch. He said unsatisfied souls come into play giving the movie this horror touch.  

The director said the film is about trust between the boy and the girl which is at the heart of all the problems. He said the boy and the girl get into a misunderstanding and they decide to sort it out and how they sort it out and whether they succeed in doing so forms the story.  

Madakari said the film’s shoot has been completed and the Kannada version has got a U/A certificate as well from the censors. He said he expects the film to release in March or after the IPL cricket tourney ends. He said the film has been shot in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and some forest locales.  

Music composer Rafi said the film has six songs and a bit song with many newcomers singing the songs.
